In an electrifying update for WWE fans, Roman Reigns, the dominant Tribal Chief, is poised to make his grand re-entry to WWE SmackDown. It's been just over two months since Reigns took to the ring, creating ripples with his prowess and unmatched charisma.

SummerSlam on August 5, 2023, remains etched in memories as Reigns clinched victory over Jey Uso, securing his claim over the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. A mere six days post this iconic win, the SmackDown stage bore witness to a gripping face-off between Reigns and the Uso brothers.

The climax saw Reigns blindsided and overpowered by Jey Uso, marking his abrupt departure from the TV limelight.

Reigns' Anticipated Return

However, sources suggest that Reigns is primed to battle it out at the highly anticipated Crown Jewel premium event in Saudi Arabia come November 4.

Adding to the excitement, Reigns' presence on the October 27 episode of SmackDown has been confirmed by the Fiserv Forum arena's official portal, which will be the venue for the episode. An ensemble of WWE's brightest stars, including John Cena, LA Knight, Charlotte Flair, Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits, and the U.S.

Champion Rey Mysterio, are also listed for the event, amplifying the anticipation. Chris Van Vliet puts forth a tantalizing forecast: an eight-time champion could potentially halt Roman Reigns' epic 1000+ day title streak.

But who will this heralded contender be? Reigns, with his monumental run surpassing 1000 days as the world champion, has toppled heavyweights like John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Cody Rhodes. Yet, the WWE universe is abuzz with speculations over who will finally overshadow The Tribal Chief.

Vince Russo, a seasoned wrestling aficionado, hints at an intriguing possibility. He believes Reigns' yet-to-be-determined challenger isn't currently part of the WWE roster. Elaborating on this on The Brand, Russo stated, "You know, my theory is you keep the belt on the guy that is the most over. Roman Reigns stands tall, with none in close pursuit. The contender to dethrone him? He's not in WWE's books yet."
