At the time, Cabrera had shared, "We have two names in mind that would work. We were like, 'OK, this could work for a boy or a girl. We love that.' We're fans of names that are versatile, fitting for either gender. So, we felt prepared regardless of the outcome." She mentioned that while one of the names had an "edgy" vibe to it, the other leaned towards a "definitely more delicate" side. The choice of Hendrix Rouge Cabrera seems to strike a balance between the two, with 'Hendrix' bringing a touch of rock 'n' roll edginess, and 'Rouge' adding a soft, delicate touch.
