In an unexpected turn of events, WWE Raw delivered a rollercoaster of surprises in San Jose, California, with several scheduled matches failing to materialize as advertised. The wrestling universe tuned in with anticipation, only to witness a series of unscripted altercations that had the crowd on the edge of their seats.

One of the most highly-anticipated clashes of the night was slated to feature Nia Jax and her former tag team partner, Shayna Baszler, going head-to-head. However, the WWE Universe was left hanging as the match never got underway.

Instead, chaos erupted right at the start of the show, with Jax and Baszler engaging in a fierce brawl. Raquel Rodriguez also joined the fray, inadvertently striking Baszler in the process. The unexpected turn of events prompted Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley to make her presence felt, intensifying the skirmish further.

Becky Lynch Match Cancellation

Another match that had fans buzzing was a showdown between Tegan Nox and the electrifying Becky Lynch. Unfortunately, this bout was pulled from the show, not for the first time, due to Lynch's unavailability following her recent clash with Tiffany Stratton at NXT No Mercy.

Wrestling aficionados were left disappointed as this eagerly anticipated clash failed to materialize. Renowned wrestling analyst Dave Meltzer, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, expressed his astonishment, noting that practically none of the matches that had been heavily promoted for the event came to fruition.

"So one thing about the show is everything advertised didn't happen. Like everything. Nia and Shayna never had the match. Damian Priest wasn't cleared, Becky Lynch and Tegan Knox didn't happen because Becky wasn't cleared. Shayna and Nia didn't happen because they decided not to have it happen," Meltzer remarked.

Amidst the chaos, one silver lining for fans was the contract signing between Tommaso Ciampa and GUNTHER, which proceeded as scheduled. This segment culminated in an unadvertised main event for the Intercontinental Title, adding a layer of unpredictability to the night's proceedings.

Additionally, the match between Xavier Woods and Ivar took place as originally advertised, providing some continuity in an otherwise turbulent evening.
