In a significant turn of events on the September 11th edition of WWE Raw, Nia Jax made a stunning return to the company by launching a fierce assault on Raquel Rodriguez and the reigning Women's World Champion, Rhea Ripley.

This marked a poignant moment for Jax, as it marked her official WWE comeback after a hiatus of two years, following her release in November 2021. Jax's initial WWE tenure spanned approximately five years, during which she portrayed both heel and face characters.

While she clinched the Raw Women's Championship from Alexa Bliss as a face, her predominant role on the main roster was that of a heel. However, like many WWE superstars, Jax has been subjected to intense scrutiny and criticism from fans in the online sphere.

Part of this scrutiny stemmed from a real-life incident in which she accidentally broke Becky Lynch's nose with a punch, along with a few other unfortunate accidents involving fellow women's wrestlers. These incidents, albeit unintentional, were exacerbated by Jax's physical prowess, often leading to unforeseen consequences in the ring.

Nia Jax's Online Struggles

Nia Jax candidly addressed the wave of online hatred she has endured on the WWE After The Bell podcast. She confessed, "I obviously can't deny that I get a lot of hatred online. In the beginning, I thought, 'This will be good for the character, it will add to the storyline.'

But when you're alone, scrolling through your phone, and all you see is relentless hate, it starts to wear on you. I began second-guessing myself and my actions." This barrage of negativity took a toll on her mental well-being, eventually leading her to question her place in the industry.

She reflected, "I got into such a sad place that when I got released, I thought, 'Yeah, of course, why not? I suck. Everybody hates me. There's no need for me to be here anymore.' " However, Jax also shared how therapy played a pivotal role in her journey towards self-acceptance and resilience.

She emphasized that happy individuals do not engage in online vitriol and that it's essential to distinguish between the character she portrays and her real self. As Jax prepares to return to the squared circle, she is set to compete in a high-stakes Fatal 5-Way match at WWE Crown Jewel on November 4th.

The match will feature Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez, Zoey Stark, and her former tag team partner Shayna Baszler. The victor of this bout will emerge as the Women's World Champion, marking a pivotal moment in Nia Jax's WWE career.

This compelling narrative showcases the resilience and personal growth of Nia Jax, shedding light on the challenges faced by WWE superstars both in and out of the ring. Her story serves as a testament to the importance of mental well-being and self-belief in the face of adversity.
