Former WWE sensation, Mandy Rose, recently took to the "Power Alphas Podcast" to shed light on her decision to participate in just one season of the popular reality show, "WWE Total Divas." In an exclusive interview, she revealed the compelling reasons behind her brief stint on the show and offered insights into her wrestling journey.

"I ended up only doing that one season of 'Total Divas' because it was really important for me to go back to 'NXT' and actually train," Rose explained candidly. "The schedule was way too crazy. I didn't get any training. People thought I was training at the [WWE] Performance Center when I really wasn't, so of course I wasn't great, and we all know it's all about practice with that and a lot of sports." During the fifth season of "Total Divas," Rose joined a star-studded cast that included The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie Garcia), Alicia Fox, Paige (now known as Saraya in AEW), Natalya, Rosa Mendes, and Eva Marie.

This season, which aired from January to April 2016, featured Rose while she was still a part of the "NXT" roster, primarily performing at house show events.

Rose's WWE Ascension

Rose's journey in WWE took an exciting turn when she was called up to the main roster in November 2017.

Her memorable partnerships and feuds, notably with her Fire & Desire teammate Sonya Deville and a romantic storyline with Otis, solidified her presence in the WWE universe. However, her career reached new heights when she returned to the "NXT" brand in July 2021, forming the formidable alliance known as Toxic Attraction with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

Just three months later, Rose achieved a significant milestone by capturing the "NXT" Women's Championship, defeating Raquel Rodriguez in a Chucky's Choice Trick or Street Fight at the "NXT" Halloween Havoc event. Unfortunately, Rose's WWE journey had its ups and downs, and it ultimately came to an unexpected end when she was released from her WWE contract on December 14, 2022, following her loss of the "NXT" Women's Championship to Roxanne Perez the previous day.

Mandy Rose's revelations about her "Total Divas" experience and her wrestling journey have provided fans with valuable insights into the challenges and sacrifices that come with pursuing a career in professional wrestling.

Her determination to prioritize training and improve her skills highlights her commitment to the sport she loves. While her WWE chapter may have concluded, her impact on the wrestling world remains undeniable, and fans eagerly await her next endeavors.
