She shared that Cardona, a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, had approached her with a proposition to join him on the indie circuit—a proposal she eagerly accepted. Reflecting on the encounter, De Lander recalled, “During the tour, he came up to me & said he had a question for me.
Instantly anxiety kicked in, but then he asked how I felt about teaming with him on the indies & being his ‘heater.’ I was stunned, realizing this was a massive opportunity, and of course, I said yes”.
Given her talent and the buzz she’s created in the indie wrestling scene, many believe this might not be Steph De Lander's last time in the WWE ring. Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure—the future looks bright for this young and ambitious wrestler.
