"We're not in short supply of good guys. LA Knight is an extraordinary talent, but adding another babyface champion isn't necessary," he added. Sullivan further noted the business implications of a title change, citing WWE's accountability to its corporate partner, Endeavor.
"A title change could have repercussions on viewership ratings. And let's not forget, WWE needs to maintain profitability. A drop in ratings isn't something the company can afford," he cautioned.
