However, now it's emerging that they don't intend to sign him in the immediate future." Mantell went on to speculate that this doesn't rule out a future return for Punk to WWE, adding a layer of intrigue to the ongoing saga: "Adding a twist to the tale, they've nuanced the news around him, making it clear that just because they're not signing him now, doesn’t mean they won’t consider it in six months, a year, or even further down the line."
