Once the focal point of WWE storytelling, Roman Reigns and his faction, The Bloodline, have been surpassed by The Judgment Day. What began as a fledgling group led by Edge in 2022 has metamorphosed into a powerhouse of wrestling excellence, dominating the WWE landscape over the past ten months.

While The Bloodline has floundered in the absence of its chief protagonist, Roman Reigns, The Judgment Day faction has ceaselessly seized television airtime, crafting multiple intriguing storylines. Their momentum comes after a rocky start, which saw the faction initially dismissed as a mere ensemble of heels lacking cohesive chemistry.

Fast forward to now, and the rise of Mysterio as WWE's premier villain, coupled with an electrifying on-screen dynamic with Ripley, has breathed new life into the faction.

Balor and Priest, the unsung workhorses of Judgment Day, have also gained prominence.

Their versatility in battling any babyface across varying skill levels has not gone unnoticed, leading to titles and establishing the faction's superiority. By Summer 2023, it was crystal clear: Raw had become The Judgment Day's territory.

Rivals Switch Sides

Recent events have escalated the group's quest for wrestling supremacy. Former Bloodline rivals like Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens have switched lanes, engaging with Judgment Day while maintaining their fan-following.

The faction's ability to seamlessly integrate themselves into multiple Raw storylines ensures their omnipresence during the three-hour broadcast. Ripley's emergence as a genuine wrestling superstar has been vital in cementing the faction's high status.

Not only does she dominate the screen with her charismatic appeal, but her wrestling acumen also allows her to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. And it's not just Ripley; Balor, Mysterio, and Priest have excelled within the ring, validating their main event status.

Adding a fresh twist to the narrative, the recent subplot involving Ripley's cunning manipulation of Rollins and McIntyre has opened new pathways.

Her scheming has set the stage for Priest to potentially cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
