Kofi Kingston On Still Sinking it in

Kofi Kingston won the WWE Title on the grandest stage of them all. He beat Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35. It was a grueling match for both competitors, and Kofi was the underdog. Even though he was the underdog, the fans loved him and wanted him to win.

After winning the title, many wrestling journalists have criticized WWE’s booking. Many people have stated that Kofi is not fit enough to be the WWE champion. Even after all of this, Kofi still hold the title, which means that the WWE believes in his wrestling ability.

Kofi Kingston was at The State of Combat podcast, where he spoke about how he is still sinking it all in. He still can’t believe that he is the WWE Champion. "It's still sinking in. Unfortunately, the thing about us is that we don't have a lot of time to sit and think and reflect on what has happened.

Every now and then I do realize how important it is. The fact that so many people were behind me made me feel as though all those years that I had worked hard and sacrificed and the effort I put into those matches was all for this," stated Kingston.

Kofi Kingston defended his title against Dolph Ziggler at the WWE Super ShowDown event. The event took place at Saudi Arabia so Kofi must have received a very good amount for that.
