As the WWE universe gears up for the year's final pay-per-view event, Survivor Series 2023, rumors about CM Punk's potential return are reaching a fever pitch. Notably, the event is set to take place in Chicago, CM Punk's hometown, fueling further speculation about his possible comeback.

Punk, a celebrated figure in professional wrestling, last competed in WWE at the 2014 Royal Rumble before venturing into other realms, including Hollywood and the UFC. Amidst these swirling rumors, former WWE Champion Randy Orton has subtly entered the conversation by liking a significant tweet.

O’Shea Jackson Jr., under his Twitter handle (formerly X), posted a critical view of the speculation, saying, "All these experts got your clicks by saying CM Punk's definitely coming back. Now it’s CM Punk that gets rejected.

Mfs care so much about looking like the first person to get it right, that they don’t care how many times they get it so wrong." Orton's interaction with this tweet has been interpreted as an indirect dismissal of the comeback rumors.

Orton, Punk, Reigns Speculations

Orton and CM Punk have a storied history, having faced each other several times, including a memorable clash at WrestleMania 27. Meanwhile, WCW veteran Disco Inferno, during his appearance on the 100th episode of the Keepin' It podcast, sparked discussions about who could potentially end Roman Reigns' iconic championship reign.

He opined that superstars like Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Bron Breakker stand a better chance at dethroning Reigns than Gunther, a sentiment resonating with many fans. Orton, who last teamed with Riddle against the Usos on Raw, has been on hiatus due to a back injury that ruled him out of a rumored showdown with Reigns at SummerSlam 2022.

Recent sightings of Orton at the performance center in September have sparked rumors of his imminent return, possibly at Survivor Series 2023, adding more excitement to an already electrifying event. The WWE community remains on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating these developments and potential surprises at the upcoming Survivor Series.
