AJ Styles, a prominent figure in WWE, has recently aligned with The OC, but their relationship isn't as straightforward as it seems. On a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Styles exhibited a somewhat detached attitude towards his stablemates, diverging from their common path.

Two weeks prior, "The Phenomenal One" made a dramatic return to WWE, targeting The Bloodline, the group responsible for sidelining him due to injury. But his aggression didn't stop there; Styles also unexpectedly attacked LA Knight, ending the show on a shocking note.

In a turn of events, at a WWE live event in Detroit, Styles joined forces with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. Together, they formed The OC and achieved victory over the formidable trio of Austin Theory and Pretty Deadly. This team-up indicated a potential reconciliation within the group, though tensions still seem to simmer beneath the surface.

Apter Shocked by Styles

Wrestling expert Bill Apter expressed his astonishment at Styles' recent demeanor towards The OC during a segment on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk podcast. Apter noted a surprising shift in Styles' attitude, particularly in his interactions with fellow members Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and Mia Yim.

"That surprised me. That really did. I didn't expect to see that at all," Apter remarked, highlighting the unexpected nature of Styles' behavior. Apter delved deeper into the transformation observed in Styles, a former WWE Champion known for his charismatic presence.

"He had a whole different style. His style was totally different. The anger was really coming out of him like he really meant it. You could tell he was grouchy. Everything was wrong, like he had to come back after being injured for so many weeks and he had to come out and be, you know, just almost like, 'I'm not starting at the bottom again, you know, I'm going after Roman Reigns, I don't care who else is here.'

So, yeah, I love his new attitude," Apter explained, emphasizing the palpable shift in Styles' approach. Upcoming at New Year's Revolution, AJ Styles is set to compete in a high-stakes Triple Threat Match against Randy Orton and LA Knight.

The winner of this bout will earn the coveted position of the new #1 contender for Roman Reigns' Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, setting the stage for a potentially explosive showdown.
