WWE luminary Chelsea Green has recently delved into her past stint with "WWE NXT" and the reasons behind its underwhelming nature, drawing comparisons to her recent reappearance on the brand earlier this year. In a recent interview on "Love Wrestling," the "WWE Raw" sensation candidly elucidated the factors contributing to her initial underwhelming tenure in "NXT." She attributed her lackluster experience to a series of setbacks, including injuries and a constant shuffling between "NXT" and the main roster.

Green reflected on her tumultuous journey, saying, "Well, there was a lot of different feelings about it, a lot of mixed emotions. My time at 'NXT' was so rocky. I was there, and then I had broken my arm, and then I was on the main roster, and then I got called back down to 'NXT,' and then I had one Takeover WrestleMania match that had no crowd.

So it was just a really, really unique experience for me." After her release in 2021, Green made a triumphant return to WWE in 2023, marking a stark contrast to her previous run. Her second stint has been notably more positive, and the former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion shared her feelings about returning to "NXT." She also highlighted the distinctions between the "NXT" and main roster audiences.

"And then finally this time when I was able to go back, it was almost the experience that I had wished I had then. I felt like there was a lot of respect shown to me, and everyone was really, really sweet. The match was awesome, and 'NXT' just has a completely different crowd and energy than SmackDown or Raw, in a really, really positive way.

Every single show has a different crowd and a different energy, but NXT has something completely different and special." Green made her triumphant return to the developmental brand while holding the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship alongside Piper Niven.

During their reign, they successfully defended their titles against Chase U's Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne in October, cementing Green's resurgence in the world of WWE.
