In a recent episode of "Wrestling Observer Radio," renowned wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer brought exciting news to the forefront of the professional wrestling world. Fans of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) are abuzz with anticipation as Meltzer confirmed the impending return of a former AEW World Trios Champion.

This esteemed wrestler, PAC, has been notably absent from the ring since July due to an undisclosed injury, leaving a void in the dynamic landscape of AEW. The buzz around PAC's return was further amplified by comments from his Death Triangle teammate, Penta El Zero Miedo.

During a virtual signing event with Highspots, Miedo hinted at PAC's imminent return to the promotion, stirring excitement among the AEW faithful. It was in August, during an episode of "AEW Rampage," that commentator Tony Schiavone initially announced PAC's hiatus from in-ring action, leaving fans eagerly awaiting his comeback.

PAC's Triumphant Return

Reflecting on PAC's journey, his last bout was a triumphant victory over Gravity on the July 26, 2023 episode of "AEW Dynamite." This win marked a significant moment in PAC's career, coming shortly after his attempt to dethrone Claudio Castagnoli as the ROH World Champion.

July was a pivotal month for PAC, marking his return to AEW following a recovery from a nose injury sustained in January. This injury occurred during a fiercely contested Best of Seven Series for the AEW World Trios Titles.

PAC made a memorable comeback on the July 19 episode of "Dynamite," joining forces with the Blackpool Combat Club and Konosuke Takeshita in a Blood and Guts match against the Golden Elite. Since joining AEW in January 2019, PAC has carved out a remarkable legacy.

He is celebrated not only for his tenure as an AEW World Trios Champion alongside Miedo and Rey Fenix but also for being the inaugural AEW International Champion, previously known as the AEW All-Atlantic Title. PAC's impressive reign lasted over 100 days until he was dethroned by Orange Cassidy in October 2022.

Notably, Cassidy reclaimed this title after defeating Fenix in October, further entwining their paths in AEW's storied history. PAC's anticipated return is not just a testament to his resilience but also a momentous occasion for AEW and its fans.

His dynamic in-ring style, combined with his compelling storytelling, has left an indelible mark on the promotion. As the wrestling community eagerly awaits the return of this high-flying, hard-hitting superstar, one thing is clear: PAC's comeback is poised to reignite the excitement and drama that AEW is renowned for, captivating audiences and reshaping the narrative of professional wrestling.
