Upon capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2015, Seth Rollins became the first wrestler of Armenian descent to hold the title and after winning his first Intercontinental Championship, he became the 29th Triple Crown Champion and the 18th Grand Slam Champion.
Rollins has headlined numerous major pay-per-view events for WWE, including WrestleMania 31. Industry veteran Sting, who wrestled his final match against Rollins, described him as the most talented professional wrestler he has ever seen or worked with.
He was the cover athlete for WWE 2K18. In a long interview with ACWrestling, Rollins revealed the last thing Jon Moxley said to him: “He gave me a big hug and said, ‘I love you brother and it’s not goodbye.
I’ll see you sometime.’ We’re always going to be bonded, I wish him the best, and you haven’t seen the last of us together. I’m sure at some point down the road, you know, we’ll be putting the fists together sometime.
I can’t say when and I can’t say for sure but there’s this feeling in my gut that we’re going to be brothers and bonded forever”. Moxley made his debut for Northeast Wrestling (NEW) on June 14, defeating fellow AEW wrestler Darby Allin. The following night, he answered CazXL's open challenge, and would later defeat him in a match.
