In a momentous occasion this past weekend, Cody Rhodes etched his name in the annals of WWE history by securing his second consecutive Royal Rumble victory, joining the elite ranks of wrestling icons such as Hulk Hogan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and Shawn Michaels.

This remarkable achievement was highlighted during the Royal Rumble Post-Show Press Conference, where Rhodes shared his emotions and reflections on this significant milestone. Rhodes candidly admitted to feeling overshadowed by the achievements of his peers, particularly after hearing Randy Orton boast about being a 20-time champion.

"When I heard Randy proclaim his 20-time championship victories, it really put things into perspective for me," Rhodes remarked. "Here I am, aspiring to clinch just one title, and Randy's already at twenty. It's quite humbling."

Despite this, Rhodes expressed immense pride in being mentioned in the same breath as wrestling legends Hogan, Austin, and Michaels.

He shared his childhood admiration for Shawn Michaels and acknowledged the unparalleled success and impact of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in the realm of sports entertainment. "To find myself among such esteemed company is both an honor and a dream come true.

It fills me with an immense sense of joy and gratitude," Rhodes stated. Rhodes extended his appreciation to the WWE team and everyone who played a part in his journey, acknowledging the support and treatment he has received.

He conveyed a heartfelt sense of gratitude for his current position, while also expressing his unwavering determination to pursue a World Title. "I'm aware of the privilege of my current standing and the incredible support I've received.

While I'd remain thankful if my career were to conclude at this juncture, I'm driven by the unfinished narrative of my quest for a World Title," Rhodes affirmed, signaling his resolve to continue his storied career in WWE.
