Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is all set to return to the WWE ring at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania 40, having revealed as much in a rollicking discussion on "The Pat McAfee Show." The Hollywood blockbuster star is, therefore, leaving no stone unturned to prep up for a return that fans have been waiting impatiently for.

In the most rigorous training regime, Johnson shows to what length he will go to guarantee that his performance in WrestleMania is nothing if not electric. "World of pro-wrestling, it is the world that I have not entered for such a long time.

So, the center of my preparation for WrestleMania is hard training, which I have already dived into," he said. So the extent of intensity he shows towards his WWE return, Johnson is said to have provided several wrestling rings in Hawaii and across the west coast to aid him in his training.

The Rock's Rigorous Training

Reflecting on his last ring appearance at WrestleMania 32 against Erick Rowan in which he quickly disposed of the WWE star, Johnson confessed that the current training is taking a physical toll on him.

"A good 12 years, it's been a long time since I've been in the ring wrestling. Jumanji set has a tough 8-9 month physical requirement for this shoot, so I've been conditioning. All of my wrestling training follows very tedious, labor-intensive training.

There has been so much buzz going on about Johnson's role at WrestleMania 40. It had been originally pitched that he would face Roman Reigns, but it seems plans have been altered. After the fans' response, Cody Rhodes is now reportedly facing off with Reigns, which still keeps the wrestling fraternity wondering what The Rock has up his sleeve for the event.

With WrestleMania 40 drawing closer, Johnson's dedication to his wrestling roots and the fan base are clearly notable. His return to the WWE ring marks not only his love for the sport but recognition of the unwavering support shown by his fans all around the world.
