That has just put on offer, with the help of Friday Night SmackDown, the nail on this year's core storyline out of 2021 to reign supreme, since it really hit the fever pitch with three great segments of all the right characters in all the right directions.

Heyman’s next talking head, a pre-taped conversation, comes from Bayley, as conducted by Michael Cole – then we go back to a series of promos, including Dana Charli, Damage CTRL's IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Kai who are out to challenge Bayley to compete in a match, followed by Naomi and Bianca Belair on yet another discussion over Naomi feels bad for Bayley and says that everyone has to make mistakes, presumably insinuating that it might look like Bayley was actually able to change for the better.

Bianca, of course, looked down at Naomi's views and almost felt pity for the type of person who brought much turmoil onto RAW and SmackDown. And yet, Naomi's perspective raises poignant questions of potential for change and reconciliation.

History of Rivalry

Bayley and Belair have a very long history in the brand. Their rivalry in the year 2021 hit a climax on "Friday Night SmackDown" when just an injured Bayley was left. However, when Bayley made her home-coming during SummerSlam 2022, she was also targeted by others, and a bitter rivalry started.

This could thus make quite a good reason for Belair to pair up with Bayley at first, since when left single, one can watch for her past rival. A field is entirely not the same with the arrival of Damage CTRL and people like Kairi Sane and Asuka part of the faction.

Take out all-time allies, in the way of Charlotte Flair and Shotzi getting hurt, and it leaves Belair pretty friendless in the face of a very tough faction. In such a case, teaming up with Bayley would indicate some moves toward a strategic counter to dominance created by Damage CTRL.

The insights from Bayley, including tactics and dynamics from Damage CTRL, would be very helpful for any potential enemy of the faction. Bayley is a veteran well-versed in the goings-on, which makes her well-placed to be a proper ally, not only to Belair but to anyone else who can reasonably be expected to be an insider.

In short, when the two tide together in Bayley for Bianca Belair, whether it's their rivalry or not, still success could be there and maybe surely need it in reaction to that big danger by Damage.
