Reflecting on the swift passage of time, it's startling to realize that a decade has flown by since the iconic WrestleMania streak of The Undertaker, also known as "The Deadman," was astonishingly broken. This monumental event occurred when Brock Lesnar emerged victorious over The Undertaker, a match that has etched itself into the annals of WrestleMania as perhaps its most jaw-dropping moment.

Notably, The Undertaker admits to having little recollection of the match due to a concussion sustained during the contest, adding a layer of intrigue to this historic defeat.

Undertaker's Chosen Successor

For years, the wrestling community was embroiled in debates over who would be the ideal candidate to end the streak, or even if the streak should be concluded.

Among the myriad of suggestions, one name recently stood out during a Q&A session The Undertaker held on his Patreon. He expressed that, in a world where Roman Reigns hadn't been the one to defeat him, Bray Wyatt would have been his preferred successor to end the streak.

According to The Undertaker, out of the potential candidates, including Lesnar and Reigns, Wyatt's victory would have carried the most significance for his career. He elaborated on the profound similarities and dark allure shared between their personas, suggesting that Wyatt breaking the streak could have served as a monumental accolade, further enriching his legacy and potentially extending the mystique of The Undertaker in a new dimension.

"The Phenom" also speculated on the intriguing possibility of their dark, enigmatic characters merging into a singular, formidable entity had Wyatt conquered the streak. Despite this, when Wyatt and The Undertaker clashed at WrestleMania 31 in 2015, it was The Undertaker who triumphed, marking his first WrestleMania appearance since the end of his legendary streak.

This victory further solidified The Undertaker's legacy, even as fans pondered what might have been had Wyatt been the one to break the streak, a scenario that continues to captivate the imagination of WWE enthusiasts worldwide.
