Babatunde Aiyegbusi, formerly known in the wrestling world as Dabba Kato and Commander Azeez, is set to make a dramatic return to the wrestling ring under a new persona, "Babathunder." This announcement comes after his departure from WWE, which was part of a broader talent release in September 2023.

Aiyegbusi's comeback was heralded by a surprise appearance at Prime Time Wrestling (PTW) in Poland on February 4. The wrestling organization recently revealed through their Instagram that Aiyegbusi, now going by Babathunder, will vie for the PTW World Championship against current champion Dawid "Puncher" Seńko.

The highly anticipated match is scheduled for May 11 at the Underground 21 gala.

Seńko's Formidable Defense

This championship match is set to be a landmark event for PTW, as Seńko, who has shown formidable prowess in recent matches, will face a significant challenge against Babathunder.

Seńko recently defended his title in a notable bout against Marius Al-Ani, seizing the German Austrian belt and maintaining his unbeaten streak in the league. Babathunder's return to his native Poland marks a full-circle moment for the athlete, who initially left to pursue his wrestling career in the United States.

Starting with WWE in April 2016, he first appeared on the NXT brand, progressing to a notable stint on WWE's Raw Underground before his last match on the September 9, 2023 episode of NXT. The upcoming match not only signifies a new chapter for Aiyegbusi but also promises to elevate the status of Polish professional wrestling on the global stage.

PTW is leveraging this momentum, urging fans to secure their tickets early for what is billed as the most significant fight in the history of Polish pro wrestling. Fans and spectators can expect a display of grit and prowess as Babathunder aims to make a triumphant return and possibly claim the PTW World Championship title.

As the wrestling community buzzes with anticipation, all eyes will be on Legionow this May to witness this historic event.
