In the exhilarating atmosphere of the first-ever SmackDown held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, WWE Women's Champion Bayley showcased her prowess outside the WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event lineup. Bayley squared off against the confident Chelsea Green, who was supported ringside by her ally Piper Niven.

Although Green delivered a commendable performance, showcasing a series of impressive maneuvers, it was Bayley who emerged victorious. The champion secured her win with a decisive Powerbomb followed by her signature Roseplant finisher.

The post-match scene quickly escalated when Niven launched an attack on Bayley before she could even regain her footing. Niven's assault was relentless, starting with a powerful running crossbody block. Despite Bayley's attempts to retaliate, Niven overpowered her with a Bossman Slam and a series of running senton splashes, leaving the champion incapacitated in the ring.

The aftermath of the match saw Niven and Green hinting at future confrontations in an interview with WWE's digital team. "It doesn’t matter what happened to me. What matters is that we are winners,” Chelsea Green stated, downplaying her defeat.

Piper Niven added ominously, "If Bayley thought that beating was bad, just wait until we clash again." The deliberate use of "clash" by Niven seems to tease a potential showdown at the upcoming WWE Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event (PLE).

Scheduled for June 16th in Glasgow, Scotland, the event promises excitement, particularly as Niven, a native Scot, may very well challenge Bayley for the title on her home turf. This match-up adds another layer of intrigue to the event, which will also feature the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament between SmackDown’s Nia Jax and Raw’s Lyra Valkyria.

SummerSlam Title Stakes

Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, has confirmed that the winners of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will be granted a title match at SummerSlam, contingent on their brand affiliation.

A victory for Jax would set her up for a potential title bout against the WWE Women’s Champion at SummerSlam. Tensions are already mounting, as evidenced by a tense staredown between Bayley and Jax on SmackDown, teasing yet another thrilling clash.

As we edge closer to the Clash at the Castle, all eyes will be on Piper Niven and Bayley, anticipating a fierce battle in Glasgow that could reshape the landscape of WWE's women's division.
