WWE star Shotzi has been sidelined with an ACL injury since her intense matchup for the NXT Women's Championship against Lyra Valkyria on the February 20 edition of "WWE NXT." While the ring remains empty of her dynamic presence, Shotzi has shared an optimistic update on her recovery process, shedding light on a silver lining during her downtime.

Shotzi, known for her fierce persona and captivating performances, suffered the knee injury during a high-stakes encounter that has temporarily halted her wrestling career. Despite the setback, she has taken to Instagram to convey her current focus on healing, not only from the recent knee injury but also addressing a lingering back issue that has troubled her for over two years.

"Currently in Mexico to finally receive the stem cell treatment I've longed for since injuring my back two and a half years ago," Shotzi expressed on social media. "Realizing that my knee injury has provided me with a chance to heal my back fully has been incredibly uplifting.

Huge thanks to Rejuvstem and the Universe for this opportunity. I'm eager to return to wrestling pain-free, but first—coconuts and cenotes!"

Shotzi's Recovery Timeline

Initially, Shotzi was projected to be out of action for nine months following her ACL injury.

With several months still to go until her expected return, the timeline remains consistent, keeping fans eagerly anticipating her comeback. The uncertainty of her placement in WWE's brand hierarchy adds another layer of suspense, as she was not selected in the recent Draft for "WWE Raw," "WWE Smackdown," or "NXT." Joining WWE in 2019, Shotzi quickly became a fan favorite, showcasing her skills predominantly on the "NXT" and "SmackDown" platforms.

Prior to signing her full-time contract, she also appeared in trials for WWE's reality series "Tough Enough," demonstrating her resilience and dedication to the sport. As Shotzi continues her recovery, the wrestling community and her fans are hopeful for her full recovery and return to the ring, where she promises to bring her pain-free and invigorated spirit back to the WWE universe.
