WWE NXT's Gigi Dolin, a vibrant fixture in the wrestling ring, is currently facing a significant setback due to a serious knee injury. Dolin, whose last match occurred on March 12 against Arianna Grace, ended in a disqualification, has been a prominent figure on NXT broadcasts.

Despite the unfavorable outcome, Dolin continued to appear alongside Grace, hinting at an evolving, albeit reluctant, camaraderie between the two. The storyline, however, took an unexpected turn in May. Reports from Fightful Select revealed that the narrative involving Dolin and Grace was discontinued, leading to Grace moving forward independently within WWE.

The same reports confirm that Dolin, still under contract with WWE, has been sidelined due to her knee condition, explaining her absence from the ring. Before this injury, Dolin was making strides beyond NXT, having been featured in matches on "WWE Main Event" and making appearances on "WWE SmackDown." Her potential was recognized with what many insiders called "main roster looks," an indication of her rising profile within the organization.

However, Dolin's recent absence from several NXT tapings has been noticeable. She has instead participated in pre-recorded segments with Grace, primarily filmed outside the WWE Performance Center. These segments were strategically used to maintain her presence on television despite her inability to compete.

Toxic Attraction's Turmoil

Dolin first rose to prominence in NXT as part of Toxic Attraction, alongside Mandy Rose and Jacy Jayne. The trio made significant waves, with Rose clinching the NXT Women's Championship and Dolin and Jayne securing the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships.

Their alliance faced a major shakeup with Rose's sudden exit from WWE in December 2022. Following Rose's departure, Jayne and Dolin eventually parted ways, leading to a dramatic Weaponized Steel Cage Match in May last year.

Jayne, too, has faced her challenges, only recently returning from a hiatus due to a broken nose sustained during a match against Thea Hail at Spring Breakin' As Dolin recovers, the wrestling community and fans alike are hopeful for her swift return to the ring, where she has consistently demonstrated her prowess and charisma.

The journey to recovery is often arduous for athletes, but with Dolin's track record of resilience, she is expected to bounce back stronger and ready to reengage with her fans and fellow wrestlers.
