The Rock's return to the ring after more than a decade was almost triumphant and his match teaming with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins went beyond the expectations of many. But before this match that entered history for several reasons, in addition to giving us promos that only he could put together, Dwayne Johnson had to undergo a full immersion of preparation.

The trio of Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang have been of fundamental importance in preparing The Rock for the appointment of WrestleMania XL. Joe Coffey has published a photo on X in which the Gallus team is clearly visible in the company of the Final Boss.

The Rock made WWE history

And the response of The Rock, always through X, was not long in coming. "I appreciate all the efforts, ideas and hard work, guys. Until next time. Keep kicking ass and I'll see you down the road. - Final Boss".

From what we have had the opportunity to see, there is nothing to complain about Gallus' work. And it is not to be excluded that we will still see the results, since in the Raw post WrestleMania XL it seemed that the storyline between The Rock and Cody Rhodes is all but concluded and the fans are anxiously waiting for Dwayne to finish filming the movie that is keeping him busy elsewhere to see if and how this story between them will evolve.

Ringside News tried to test the waters a bit by turning to an undisclosed source within WWE to find out what The Rock's position backstage really is. The general opinion that emerged is that the Final Boss was trying to take credit for WWE's newfound success during his return to the scene and despite having entered when the fuse had already been lit and the federation was already enjoying more than decent success.

But it doesn't end there: it would seem, the conditional is a must, that he tried to overshadow Cody Rhodes - who was clearly on the crest of the wave - and also tried to take credit for Drew McIntyre's contract renewal with WWE.
