Combate Americas MMA promotion is a new MMA promotion and they recently announced that Alberto El Patron will be fighting Tito Ortiz. Tito Ortiz is a UFC Hall of Famer. The promotion have not announced when the fight will take place.

The fight is rumored to take place in October. Alberto signed in 2018 with Combate Americas. Before he was doing commentary for their Spanish programs. A multi-fight deal was signed by Ortiz, and he did that back in April. The fight with El Patron will be the first fight for the promotion.

Ortiz won his last fight via KO over Chuck Liddell. He was working for Golden Boy Promotions back then. His record now stands at 20-12-1. Alberto last fought in 2010 and lost to Yamamoto Hanshi at Cage of Combat 4. Ortiz was on iHeartRadio where he spoke about his upcoming fight with Alberto.

"Well you know, it will be a three round fight," Ortiz said. "Three, five-minute rounds. And I will train for three, five-minute rounds. And coming from the WWE, those guys can take a beating. So let's see if Alberto can take a beating for a round.

I guarantee it will be just like the last one, nice and short." Alberto El Patron was Alberto Del Rio in the WWE. He was one of the company’s top performers but left the company years ago.
