Booker T, WWE Hall of Famer, recently gave his thoughts about Paul’s time with that belt on “The Hall of Fame” podcast.
Booker T emphasized how remarkable it was for Paul to have come this far through such an avenue. “This is so rare! Recreating something like this will be difficult.” He commended the YouTube sensation for standing up against some of the best professional wrestlers on earth, considering his limited experience in the industry.
“Think about somebody who came into the business with no background at all and immediately stepped right into a WrestleMania main event with The Miz and took on The Mysterious. That’s not going to happen again anytime soon. Yes, I am,” Baxter said. In addition, he lauded Paul’s consistency in being able to perform even when fans thought he couldn’t handle it. "I’ve got to give Logan Paul a lot of credit because, honestly, I don’t think there will be someone else coming from outside, and they’ll actually not just have one match but go on quite a stretch like he did.”
Logan Paul Surpasses Celebrity Peers
Booker T equated Logan Paul with other celebrities, including singer-songwriter Bad Bunny and NFL star Lawrence Taylor, who briefly appeared in WWE. Unlike them, though, he completely submerged himself in wrestling, demonstrating that far from being an average athlete, he could contend with elite sportsmen.
What sets the former United States Champion apart is his commitment to establishing himself as a true wrestler rather than just another celebrity attraction making appearances here and there.
