On August 24, 2023, the wrestling industry lost one of its most imaginative visionaries, Bray Wyatt, and a year on, there is still pain in the eyes of the wrestling fans. WWE's former champion was appreciated for his great performance in the ring and the things others did not get to see. His death created a gap in the industry that still exists even among those who worked with him, let alone his fans. Bo Dallas, Wyatt's brother, also known as Uncle Howdy, has made it his purpose to ensure that Wyatt's story continues to be told.

When Triple H announced Bray Wyatt's death last year, the WWE Universe was left completely astonished and in mourning. Other fans and WWE Superstars paid their tributes to “The Fiend” and paid their respects to the man and his legacy. One of the fans who paid their tributes was Karrion Kross, a former NXT Champion who decided to put on his wrist a Bray Wyatt tattoo, which symbolized how much Wyatt meant to him.

Kross Honors Wyatt

Not long ago, Karrion Kross posted a photo of his tattoo on Instagram remembering the day of Bray Wyatt's death and captioning it as “Gone but never forgotten.” Many fans and former wrestlers commented, which was touching, given how close the wrestling community is in terms of connections.

Like any other star being mourned, Bray Wyatt received his share of ego boosters from fans and admirers across the world of wrestling. Alexa Bliss, who at some point was in Wyatt’s corner on WWE television, shared a heartfelt post dedicated to resonating with “The New Face of Fear.”

In the ring, Karrion Kross has been making waves with a new angle where he is entangled with The New Day on WWE RAW. The Herald of Doomsday has been able to disrupt within the mainstream stable to the extent of messing with the mind of Xavier Woods. Then, after the return of Odyssey Jones, the tide of hate rose a notch higher when Jones helped The New Day to fight Kross on RAW. While Kofi Kingston seems to welcome the help from Jones, Woods does not seem to relish the presence of this newcomer.

Widely considered to be one of the best tag teams in WWE history, the New Day, however, with the lingering animosity, a coup de tat in the faction may not come as a surprise. As always, the various WWE fans will just have to wait and see how this particular story develops.
