Most recently, after the conclusion of his WWE contract in the early part of this summer, there are a lot of wrestling fans who have been wondering what next will be for the former WWE United States champion. Rumors about a reunion of MPV with former ally Lashley and MPV's diatribe against former employer Triple H raised doubts about the wrestler’s age and physical state. Since mid-2022, he’s been suffering from knee injuries which appeared to have brought an early end to his career. Until now.
In another event a couple of weeks ago, that is, on a Tuesday night last week, MVP took to Instagram to post pictures of himself looking good because stem-cell therapy had been successful to this point. In one particular video, while doing several box jumps with ease, MVP proved that he has gained quite a lot of movement as compared to the limited one he had before. He would later on go on and tell his fans how great the therapy is since it has made it possible for him to live in a world without knee pains.
Wrestlers Embrace Stem-Cell Therapy
Stem-cell therapy has emerged as the new ‘magic solution’ among professional wrestlers in the last decade in an attempt to lengthen their careers. Similar sentiments are shared by noted WWE star Rey Mysterio who has been vocal in supporting the procedure. This innovative therapy has also been adopted by other famed persons from the wrestling fraternity such as Johnny TV from AEW, commentator Taz, and diamond Dallas page, a WWE Hall of Famer with good results.
The real drama, however, is in the fact of whether his recovery will pave way for his entry back into the wrestling ring. Rumors of a fight are already on the rise as he was seen making a short entrance for a confrontation with Josh Barnett in Bloodsport elder on. But as the wrestling world sits at the edge of their seats, it could be that MVP’s recovery and return to the ring will not only be his great triumph but that of the whole industry showcasing how helpful stem-cell technology could be in prolonging the careers of its stars.
