Ringside News has released the free news by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select: Nikki Cross has signed a new deal with WWE. The negotiations were already underway last spring, long before his return to the ring with Wyatt Sick. Before this return to the role of Abby The Witch, Nikki Cross did not appear on screen for a long time: since November 2023.

So far Nikki Cross has played an essential role in the new stable formed on memory and especially on the ideas of the late Bray Wyatt, but the hope - also in the light of this new agreement - is to be able to see her soon as an active part in the ring.

This contractual decision seems to come also after numerous praises expressed by insiders, even occasional, on the way of doing and being the thirty-five year old Scottish athlete, who is also very popular and considered in the backstage and WWE seems to be intent on rewarding this kind of approach in its employees.

Nikki Cross renews with WWE

In the last few weeks at Monday Night Raw we saw the Wyatt Sicks' stable go to start a real feud with Chad Gable, the former leader of the Alpha Academy, now joined by the Creed Brothers, with Chad being chased weekly by the five dark individuals of the red show.

During the last episodes of Raw, we have seen more and more live this feud, with the attack of Chad against Bo Dallas last week that has started a revenge by Uncle Howdy in the last episode of the show red, after the Creed Brothers started attacking Otis. After seeing this new segment at Raw, Nikki Cross wanted to release a new photo with a cryptic caption on her X account, with the phrase that you still do not understand who it refers to.

That WWE is living a new golden era is in the open, and this means having to make some dips (see Ricochet fresh debut in AEW or Bobby Lashley) But also to ensure that the talent you want to invest in does not have a chance to look beyond the hedge.

Very often, therefore, a setback is not only and simply what it seems: sometimes you take a step back just to catch the run, and this is what happened to a superstar of the women’s division who saw several changes of gimmick and was the last holder of the WWE 24/7 Championship before it was literally wiped out by her.
