With an impressive wrestling background, Nic Nemeth has been a holder of the TNA World Title which he captured recently at slammiversary for over 41 days. Also with the continuing TNA and WWE’s “NXT” brand crossover which has featured stars like Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace, a number of fans have been wondering if Naturally Nemeth might be inclined to join the mix. In a recent show called the “Battleground Podcast,” however, he now made it more clear that he has no plans of being the TNA champion and wrestling in the minor leagues of WWE as they would call it.
During the interview, Nemeth recounted his earlier break as an NXT champion and discussed the possibility of coming back to the "NXT" again. He further elaborated on his words stating, “I have done that already, like what’s the payoff? You do not get the NXT champion’s belt as I did two years ago, or for that matter, if the company has any payoff like giving the ‘hey, we are bringing in our World Cham,’ that is going to be something special then yes I am all for helping both companies take it just one notch bigger and better.”
Nic Nemeth Open to NXT
Nemeth currently is not than of appearing on the “NXT” platform but he suggested that such a need arose he would have no choice but go the “Recapture Wrestlings” route. But it would have to work for both TNA and WWE.
Among the plausible oppositions, perhaps it is a unique experience for the person to go on an Nxt television and have someone on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown making a challenge that would be different, someone I haven’t worked with. I have been in NXT for some time and I was a champion, I have been working with Bron Breakker and, darn, the kid is just brilliant. If I can say also, if we can discover a system or just business paperwork or anything that says anybody, this is what I think Lady Doll would say, attend this and this will be big. 100% I will be there.
