The CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre match held during the WWE Bad Blood event, which took place on Saturday, according to fans, was exactly how they had expected it – brute hatred between the rivals and quite a lot of blood. This did not cut out on the intense rivalry or bloodshed from the faces and draw blood; both wrestlers cut each other. Still, McIntyre is likely to make the biggest impression due to his injuries. After taking a headshot with a toolbox from Punk by mistake, this bout left McIntyre gushing blood for the whole match.

Although the bloody moment was an accident, it triggered several reactions even from the former WWE star and Punk’s rival him. On such a plain afternoon, Ryback took to X on Sunday and spoke his mind over the issue. I have never done this or anything close to this to any of my opponents. Ryback posted without Paris-Punk in the target. “whoever did this” to McIntyre ‘whoever did this’ was condemned, “is absolutely mind-numbing and extremely dangerous to have on your team.”

Ryback-Punk Feud

Those who know Ryback’s history concerning CM will not be surprised why he made those remarks. In 2012 and 2013, their feuds had Ryback being Punk’s opponent; the latter claimed his injuries were caused by the former, which were brought to evidence in the year 2014 during Punk’s ‘The Art of Wrestling’ Fight companion with Cabana. For a long time, Ryback and Punk have had issues, with Ryback regularly ridiculing Punk on the internet and attempting to refute Punk’s account of events. Before, CM had claimed that when he confronted him concerning the injuries, he just called him “dumb as f--k” in reply.

Accepting the fact that he had been injured, McIntyre does not seem to soak himself too much in the injury, which was closed with 16 stitches.

He might care more about the outcome of the match, which CMwon and made the last bout between them. That leaves Punk with two wins and McIntyre one win, effectively ending the year-long feud they have had, with that outcome being a win for Punk.
