One of WWE's rising stars, female wrestler Bayley, aims higher. A Diva who reached the peak through the American wrestling promotion “WWE NXT,” Bayley understands the value of an evolution program brand in becoming the star of the future. As she progresses in her career, it will be interesting to see how she measures up against the freshest NXT recruits.
The Rob Brown Show interviewed her, and she was thrilled about the prospect of facing an NXT star. She named Roxanne Perez one of the potential opponents she is waiting for.
“There are many girls down there. It’s difficult just to single out one,” said Bayley. Of course, “Roxanne’s stock is currently blowing through the roof. This woman has simply been wowing everyone and has so many title defenses that stand out. I like to think of her as being very gifted. She gets involved in the ring in so many different ways that I respect, and I cannot wait for the day when she joins us up here and competes with many different people in the ring.”
Perez Dominance Debated
Roxanne Perez, NXT Women's Champion, has dominated her opponents since the start of 2024. Her great fights have raised eyebrows about when she will make her debut on the main roster of WWE. However, disagreements arise about when that should take place.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray cautioned against hasty promotion, stating that Perez would be better off spending more time in NXT honing her skills. He thinks she can further stretch her potential by spending more time on the developmental brand. On the other hand, Booker T, another Hall of Fame member who trained Perez at his wrestling school, does not share the same view. According to him, Perez is one of the finest female performers in WWE now and is ready for the bigger stage.
While Perez keeps capturing attention in NXT, she and her protégé Cora Jade are preparing for the next challenge. The two will battle against freshers Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia in a tag team match on Halloween Havoc, which will be held on 26th October 2013.
