After taking down former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion Cora Jade, Sol Ruca sealed a spot in the 2024 Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge. Two additional competitors completed the lineup on WWE NXT this week, leaving two spots in the match that are quite ‘costly’ to win.
The first match of the evening began with Jaida Parker vs La Primera Stephanie Vaquer. Parker who seemed to be the stronger of the two initiated the offense and used athleticism and strength to take over early in the match. The match, however, changed in this sequence when Lola Vice figured in at ringside, holding up a brick.
This distraction was sufficient for Vaquer who quickly made up for her needs. She stunningly kicked Parker in the face before following it with a package backbreaker to win the match as Parker was atop a heap of broken bodies.
Zaria Secures Spot with Dominant Victory
Sometime later in the night, Zaria made headlines after she recently debuted, as a match against Wren Sinclair of No Quarter Catch Crew. Zaria’s strength was very evident as she took her opponent down with multiple damaging suplexes.
Mason Sinclair scored briefly when her partner, Charlie Dempsey, distracted Zaria outside. Still, the powerhouse put up a resistance, delivering a spear and an F5 finishing Maneuver that earned her a place in the Iron Survivor Challenge.
With Vaquer and Zaria already confirmed, only two places are left in the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge. In this week's episode, Kelani Jordan wishes to meet Giulia in the next qualifier match, which is scheduled for the next week. But this particular match is yet to be confirmed by the officials of WWE, which still have ragged fans who are anticipating the announcement of further fixtures.
As per the reports, the third edition of the Iron Survivor Challenges will be held on December 7, 2023, as part of NXT Deadline, the show taking place in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The show is definitely going to provide many entertaining activities as it has so much history. In 2022, Roxanne Perez was the first woman to win the women’s match. For example, Blair Davenport won last year’s title when she defeated the strongest contenders, Fallon Henley, Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, and Kelani Jordan.
