
There has been a temporary delay to the lawsuit that was filed against Vince McMahon, and Linda McMahon (WWE Members) regarding to the allegations on them regarding s-xual assault against minors. According to the Today's Wrestling Observer Newsletter updates, proceedings have been delayed for nine months after the WWE Lawyers and parent company TKO filed a delay application in the court and the judge approved the request.
Court Decisions
At the beginning of this week, Judge James Breador approved that s-xual abusement case will be delayed for a few weeks. On the other hand, the judge of the Maryland Supreme Court is thinking that either they should remove power of prescription for victims of s-xual abuse to sue their alleged abusers is constitutional. The lawsuit will be dismissed if it proves illegitimate allegations.
In August 2025, it is expected from the Maryland Supreme Court to make a final decision about the case. The WWE and TKO Lawyers are trying to move the case hearings from Maryland Court to federal court at the same time. This decision is being supported publically by attorneys for McMahons.
WWE and McMahons have the allegations in the Lawsuit that they were allowing their employees such as Mel Phillips, Terry Garvin, and Pat Patterson to s-xually abuse the young boys who were working with them as practice before the real match. Five unknown members filed a case against them again in October. They accused Vince and Linda of knowing what was taking place behind the scene but they remained silent and did nothing against it.
Last month, It was announced that Donald Trump, who is going to become president of United States, will recommend Linda McMahon to be Secretary of Education. Meltzer stated that MacMohan might be facing some difficulties on her cabinet nomination due to lawsuit against her that reveals that she was involved in this case.
