After returning to WWE in 2023 during Survivor Series and shocking the whole world, CM Punk has had a lot of patience and has shown that he is more mature than his first experience at the Stamford company ten years ago.

The champion from Chicago has been able to wait for his moment and his relationship with Triple H has improved a lot compared to the past, testifying to the greatness of two legends who only want the good of this business.

The former All Elite Wrestling star played a major role in the feud between Roman Reigns' Original Bloodline and Solo Sikoa's New Bloodline in late 2024, when he helped Roman's stable defeat Solo Sikoa's stable at Survivor Series.

It's no secret that 2025 could be the right year to see Punk world champion again and he himself has admitted that he would like to make this great dream come true.

The 'Second City Saint' failed to win the Royal Rumble match earlier this month, but will have another big shot at Elimination Chamber next month. These days, the former world champion has also confessed that he would be honored to be able to face an icon like John Cena in the last year of his career.

CM Punk will face Gunther

For the moment it is not clear what Punk will do at WrestleMania 41, although there are rumors of a possible dream match with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Meanwhile, WWE has announced that CM Punk will face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage match during an event to be held in Vienna, Austria, on March 29.

It is unlikely that the ace from Chicago will be able to become world champion in that circumstance, since it is an event not broadcast on television and shortly before the 'Showcase of the Immortals'. The 2025 edition of WrestleMania will take place in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20.
