WWE has officially entered a new era in 2025. Starting January 6, 2025, Monday Night Raw is broadcast on Netflix and this epochal turning point is destined to have major repercussions on the entire business for a long time.
The first episode of the red show on the famous platform recorded incredible audience figures, which brought wrestling back to the center of attention and revealed how great WWE's potential is in the coming years.
The revolution started by Triple H two and a half years ago has helped to bring the company into a new dimension and the credit is certainly due to The Game, which was not satisfied with continuing on the path traced by its illustrious predecessor Vince McMahon.
The arrival of Raw on Netflix has allowed The Game to bring several legends back to the screen, which are still able to leave fans speechless. On January 6, 2025, icons such as The Rock and The Undertaker made their appearance, giving magical moments to the crowd that adores them unconditionally.
Eric Bischoff on the WWE revolution
On the latest edition of 'Wrestling Time Machine' featuring Mac Davis, wrestling veteran Eric Bischoff detailed the impact of moving Raw to a platform like Netflix: "The idea, the fact that this show is going live worldwide is such a massive step into the future, in really a way that none of us, us being myself, I would have ever imagined being possible. Ever, ever, ever would have fantasized about it before streaming and before such thing as Netflix and all that.
So, the fact that WWE has achieved all that in such a massive way is such an important part of the history of professional wrestling and our culture that it overshadowed everything for me. It made everything good."
This period is the most important of the year for WWE, which is organizing WrestleMania 41 in detail without neglecting Elimination Chamber.
The company's next PLE will take place in Toronto on March 1st and it will be full of electrifying matches.
