Lio Rush on Being in a Suicidal State

Lio Rush last appeared inside a WWE Ring in March. That month, he got abandoned by his partner, Bobby Lashley. They lost a match against Braun Strowman and Finn Balor. The match took place on an episode of Monday Night RAW. He is 24 years old and he is taking time off from performing in the WWE ring.

He recently opened up and spoke about his mental health issues that he is facing these days. He spoke about it on the Sports Illustrated. He was also in the process of promoting his single called “Scenic Lullaby” which is a hip hop song.

The song describes his mental health. "Seven years ago, I was in a suicidal state," said Rush, who uses the moniker "The Man of the Hour" "There was a point in time where I was hospitalized for a few days because I was in such a bad state.

It was really hard to continue, but I made the decision that I wouldn't give up. I decided to keep pushing forward”. "There was a point when I wanted to give up on my dreams, just give up on everything, I wanted to give up on life," said Rush.

Rush is not the first wrestler to have suicidal thoughts. Wrestlers go through a lot of physical and mental pain. For some wrestlers, it is way too much.
