AJ Styles knows well that the end of his career is not far away. Injuries have become more and more frequent in recent years, as have his periods of stoppage, which is why the former world champion will have to be very good at managing his body in the latter part of his legendary career.
'The Phenomenal One' suffered a fairly serious injury in the latter part of last year, which kept him away from the company for some time and raised fans' concern about his future.
AJ has worked hard during his rehabilitation journey and has shown that he loves wrestling very much, which has always been his greatest passion. His on-screen return came during the first PLE of the new year – the Royal Rumble – in which he was greeted as a hero by the crowd in Indianapolis, showing that he was motivated and in great shape.

At this point, fans around the world are wondering what plans WWE has for him in view of WrestleMania 41. The 2025 edition of the 'Showcase of the Immortals' is only a couple of months away and there is not much time to set up a storyline worthy of a champion of this caliber.
According to reports from 'WrestleVotes', the company would be seriously considering a hypothesis for the future of Styles.
"The most sensible thing would be to organize a match between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor at WrestleMania 41, but I don't think that will happen" - explained 'WrestleVotes'. "We've heard that AJ Styles could face Bron Breakker or Finn Balor in the biggest event of the year.
In both cases, it would be a singles match. We believe that the Mania 41 under-card is still being worked on and that there may be several changes in the coming weeks."
The only sure matches of WrestleMania 41 would be Jey Uso vs. Jey Uso. Gunther and John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes, although the leader of the 'Cenation' will have to win the Elimination Chamber match to earn this opportunity.
