Triple H has been a champion of the highest level during his long career in WWE, having broken numerous records and being recognized as one of the best wrestlers of the modern era. Many of his feuds and matches are destined to remain forever etched in the minds of fans, but few imagined that he had enormous talent behind the scenes as well.
In the summer of 2022, The Game took on a very daunting task when he decided to replace Vince McMahon as the new head of the creative team. WWE was going through a bad time and it was not easy to fix the situation, because Vince had been overwhelmed by serious scandals and the rise of Tony Khan's All Elite Wrestling was putting WWE's leadership in this business at risk.
HHH had the courage to make even unpopular choices in the toughest moment, revitalizing the atmosphere backstage and renewing the product in different aspects. Fans returned to watch the shows with great emphasis, the stars of the roster were finally happy and very important commercial agreements were concluded - such as the one with Netflix - which marked the beginning of a new era.
Hunter has really done an excellent job with his collaborators and has no intention of stopping there, wanting to make the company bigger and more talented.
HHH opens up on his mentor
Triple H is set to induct into the WWE Hall of Fame during the WrestleMania 41 weekend, an absolutely deserved recognition for what he has done for this business.
In a recent interview, the former world champion discussed the huge impact of his mentor Killer Kowalski on his career: "Go back all the way to the beginning when I was training. Killer Kowalski told me 'Anytime you go into something, right when you walk out, take a moment...take a moment to acknowledge it because it all goes really fast.
I'm appreciative of him teaching me that because it allows me to stop every now...because it is easy to get caught up in 'It's just another show.' And in some manner you want it to be 'just another show.'"
