No WWE fan or insider could have imagined that Becky Lynch would take such a long break from wrestling. The former world champion hasn't appeared on-screen for almost a year now and the mystery about her future shows no sign of clearing up, although everyone knows that she signed a new contract with the company at the end of last year.
The beginning of 2025 was supposed to represent the ideal opportunity to propitiate her return to the ring, considering that Monday Night Raw made its official debut on Netflix on January 6, starting a new era for WWE and wrestling in general.
The Irish star also missed the 2025 edition of the Royal Rumble, in which two other legends such as Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss made their return leaving the crowd speechless. At that point, everyone thought that Triple H and WWE management were planning to use Becky in 'Road to WrestleMania 41' – the most important period of the entire season – but she has never appeared yet and the 'Showcase of the Immortals' is really just around the corner.

Given the premises, it is safe to say that Lynch will not even participate in the very prestigious show scheduled in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20.
Meanwhile, the presence of 'The Man' at 'The Ultimate Improv Show' to be held on April 11 in Los Angeles (about a week before Mania 41) has been officially announced. In addition to her, there will also be other illustrious figures such as Dan Black, Bobby Moynihan, Paul Scheer and Lisa Gilroy.
In a recent update, top analyst Sean Ross Sapp had discussed Lynch's status for the most important event of the year: "I honestly don't expect him to appear at WrestleMania 41, I haven't heard anything about his possible employment in Las Vegas. There have been several ideas about his return to the ring, but they have been discarded for a reason I don't know."
It is likely that WWE Universe will have to be patient a little longer before being able to admire the Irish champion again.
