The most attentive fans had noticed that Braun Strowman's rise in WWE had been extinguished for several months, but almost no one expected that he would be fired during the last wave of releases. It is no secret that Triple H and the WWE management intend to rejuvenate the roster and want to focus on NXT talents, as The Game's choices in the 2025 edition of the Royal Rumble match in early February had already shown.
According to reports from 'Fightful Select', the former Universal champion would have been speechless when he heard this news and it is legitimate to wonder about his future in professional wrestling. The Stamford’s federation has never been able to fully enhance his talent, although he has participated in some iconic matches such as the clash with Goldberg at WrestleMania 36 during the pandemic period.
WWE did not want to comment on this decision and it will take time to understand what the future will be for Braun, who could try a new adventure in another promotion after making some changes to his character.
Braun Strowman is out of WWE
Strowman had already been removed from the company in the summer of 2021 before returning the following year, when Triple H began a new era after the scandals that hit former WWE boss Vince McMahon.
In a recent interview with ‘Busted Open Radio’, ECW legend Tommy Dreamer discussed Strowman’s wrestling career: “I had the earliest of Braun Strowman matches. We joke about it whenever I talk about him but I think he said I was like his third or fifth match ever. And I didn’t work in WWE and I did it on television, and me and the Dudleys and Rhino were all feuding with Braun Strowman. You could see how great this guy was going to be. He’s also had some ups and downs in his career, to the point where WWE lets him go.”
Fans are hoping that Braun will recover from this bad blow and give his career a new ‘spin’.
