John Cena didn't have much time to celebrate his amazing win against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, because he was immediately attacked by Randy Orton with a devastating RKO and will have to defend his world title from the latter's assault on WWE Backlash on May 10.

The legend from Boston became a 17-time world champion by breaking yet another record in his glorious career and promised that he will retire with the title, keeping faith with his new heel character.

The prospect that the leader of the 'Cenation' could take the world title with him at the end of his career scares WWE Universe, but the most likely hypothesis is that someone will defeat him by the end of 2025 and start a new era.

Update on John Cena

John has already participated in numerous shows in this first segment of the year and is not destined to stop even after Mania 41. He will be the main protagonist of Backlash in less than a week and is also expected to participate in Money in the Bank on June 7, while his presence at the event that will take place in Australia in mid-October has already been confirmed.

However - according to the latest rumors - WWE management could give a small break to Cena after Backlash. 'The Viper' has promised that he will be ruthless towards John in the company's next PLE and could even cause him an injury with his devastating 'Punt Kick', an eventuality that would force the current world champion away from the ring for a period.

Meanwhile, WWE has announced that Cena will take part in the final episode of Friday Night SmackDown before Backlash and will have one last confrontation with Orton before their showdown.

The leader of the 'Cenation' is very confident right now after annihilating 'The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, which is why it won't be easy even for a legend like Randy to ruin the last year of John's career. St. Louis is all set for a memorable show.
