The last few months have been particularly tough for Braun Strowman, who had ended up far from the top of WWE and it had become clear to everyone that the management no longer believed in his talent. The former Universal Champion had been clearly defeated by Jacob Fatu in his last match and - when the news was announced that he would not participate in WrestleMania 41 - the fans were very irritated and invited him to react.
Although he was not happy with his status within the company, Braun has always had impeccable behavior both in and out of the ring in the hope that Triple H would change his mind and give him a new chance. However, Strowman's name was put on the list of athletes who were released by the company a short time ago.
He does not seem to have taken this news with particular sadness, considering that the latest images portray him enjoying his time on a jet ski and sipping a drink on board a boat. Perhaps Braun needed a break from wrestling at this time in his life, also to recover from the serious injuries that have limited him in recent years forcing him to endure considerable pain.
What's next for Braun?
Strowman's future in this business is indeed uncertain, and it is unclear what direction his career will take. According to what was revealed by top analyst Bill Apter, Braun and WWE would have broken up without any resentment and it is not excluded that he could return to Stamford in the future.
“I heard that it was not an angry break, and if they call him six months or a year down the road, ‘We need you for three or four months,’ he would be willing to do it again. The door is open” – Apter stated.
Several insiders suggest that Braun's high salary was one of the main reasons behind WWE's decision to release him.
It will be interesting to know what this wrestling giant will do in the future.
