Braun Strowman had to undergo his second release from WWE a short time ago, after he had already been forced to leave the Stamford’s company in 2021 (before making his return the following year). It had been evident for some time that WWE management no longer intended to bet on the former Universal Champion, who had taken a secondary role in the shows and had been excluded from WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

Fans were angry after learning that he would not be attending the biggest event on the WWE calendar, but Braun had calmed WWE Universe down and had always maintained a professional attitude before the news of his dismissal.

The former world champion didn't look particularly sad after being released from WWE, having started enjoying his time on the boat and pursuing his passions outside the ring.

Latest news on Braun's release

In the last week, several analysts have tried to understand the reasons behind his dismissal and the most likely hypothesis was that his very high salary had affected Triple H's decision.

However - according to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the 'Wrestling Observer Newsletter' - Strowman's propensity for injuries and his precarious shape would have been decisive for the company's choice to get rid of him.

“Strowman’s release was said to be a combination of his high salary and injuries,” Meltzer stated.

“He had not been moving well in the ring since coming back from a major hamstring injury. One person there noted to us that he was hurt worse than people realized” – he added.

In addition, it seems that the former Universal champion had lost a bit of motivation in the last part of his WWE experience and his attitude was not ideal.

The feeling is that Braun needs a new federation at this point in his career, in order to return to being dominant and ambitious.

His WWE journey ended in a bad way but there were no longer the conditions to stay there.
