Jon Moxley currently holds the IWGP US Title. He wasn’t successful this year in the G1 Climax tournament but he is still under a NJPW contract. The contract will end on the 4th of January, which will be just after Wrestling Kingdom 14.
This is a report made by Sports Illustrated. Another Wrestle Kingdom event will take place on the 5th of January next year. Jon Moxley captured the US title after he beat Juice Robinson for it back in June. He lost to Juice at this year’s G1 Climax tournament which now sets up a rubber match between them.
The match will most likely be held at NJPW’s biggest show of the year. Kota Ibushi won this year’s G1 Climax tournament after beating Jay White in the finals of it. The finals took place at the start of this week.
On 31st of August, Moxley will perform for All Elite Wrestling and will fight Kenny Omega. It will be AEW’s All Out event which will take place in Chicago. Jon Moxley is a former WWE wrestler. He was known as Dean Ambrose in the WWE and was a member of The Shield.
Jon was known for his excellent work as a heel and his unstable character. He was called the lunatic fringe and was extremely good at selling moves. Even though he was a heel, he used to receive cheers from the crowd.
