The last few days have been particularly agitated for WWE, as the company announced its surprising decision not to renew the contracts of some veterans. Athletes of the caliber of Carlito and R-Truth will have to leave the Stamford’s federation and continue their careers elsewhere, although no one has yet understood the reasons behind this choice.
R-Truth had been one of the protagonists of Saturday Night's Main Event just over a week ago, having had the privilege of facing a legend like John Cena in the last year of his glorious career. No one thought Triple H would decide to fire him right now, as the company is gearing up to host Money in the Bank on June 7.
Carlito's release is less surprising, considering that the Puerto Rican star had made only sporadic appearances in the ring since returning to WWE in 2023. The latter had a secondary role and could still give a lot to this business, as evidenced by his recent success that allowed him to become the new Puerto Rican champion last weekend.
The Miz no longer follows WWE
The most attentive fans have noticed how The Miz has stopped following WWE on social media since the news of the release of R-Truth was made official, with which he has always had a wonderful relationship both in and out of the ring.

WWE Universe is starting to wonder if Miz is also destined to leave the company in the near future, given that his contract will expire later this year.
However - according to reports from 'Fightful Select' - The A-Lister would not have received any communication from WWE management regarding the alleged desire to fire him.
The Miz has not released any official statement about his future in recent weeks, but has limited himself to writing a really beautiful message for his huge friend R-Truth.
