Omos has formally revealed that he has signed a renewed deal with WWE that is already to continue on a long-term basis.

Although the 7-foot-3 dynamo has not played in singles matches on TV since May 2023, he is preparing to make a big comeback. According to a recent interview Omos conducted, he mentioned, "things are going very well.

Can’t complain. I am so thrilled about what the future holds. I have been training like crazy and learning some new stuff, and I think that the ride ahead is going to be a lot of fun, and of course, I just signed a renewal with WWE and will be with them for many years to come!”

This declaration follows a year of several prominent roster switchovers with WWE, as Shayna Baszler, Braun Strowman, and Sonya Deville were released.

One thing that stood out was the new commitment of Omos to the company which is made given that he has not been appearing in the ring much in the last year.

His final match on television was in the April 5, 2024, episode of SmackDown during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

A Fresh Start After a Global Journey

In a coronavirus break, Omos took a chance on being in Japan, where he wrestled in Pro Wrestling NOAH. He succeeded at the place because he won the GHC Tag Team Championship with Jack Morris.

Speaking back on this experience Omos stated, "That was unreal, man. I was on a small pause, sort of waiting around. I had to visit Japan.”

Fans have been surprised and excited by the renewal contract of Omos. Others can hardly wait to see the way WWE will continue to use his unique presence.

Considering his previous partnerships with AJ Styles and MVP, and his public feuds with the most prominent wrestlers such as Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley, people speculate about his possible storylines and feuds when he returns.
