In an exciting development to wrestling fans, WWE Hall of Famer Kane-more popularly spelled out as Glenn Jacobs is coming back to the ring, making a special independent wrestling event.
Northeast Wrestling by confirmation said that The Big Red Monster will be appearing live during the forthcoming Wrestling Under the Stars show on July 19 on Saturday in Niles, Ohio.
It will be one of the rare times Kane has ever been seen publicly in the wrestling world since he entered politics. Since 2018, Jacobs has been the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee and has largely removed himself when it comes to in-ring activity. His final WWE performance took place at SummerSlam 2022 as he made a cameo.
Summer Wrestling Lineup Stacked With Stars
July 19 event looks set to be one of the best wrestling events in the summer. The card will include a mix of wrestling icons and up-to-date stars. Those confirmed are WWE Hall of Famer, Arn Anderson, AEW talent MVP and Shelton Benjamin as well as former WWE star Matt Riddle. Popular personalities Maria Kanellis and Isla Dawn will also not be left out in the action of the night.
To spice up the card even more, Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) who currently have the tag team championship in the independent circuit and have performed in NXT, will be defending their titles at the event.
This is going to be a match not to be forgotten with a host of wrestling legends and the current names all together. The fact that Kane will be present alone would attract an enormous audience.
