Jordynne Grace, who broke down the walls in TNA, is quickly becoming a center of plans in WWE as she recently left NXT and became a member of the main roster.
Grace entered the 2025 Women's Royals Rumble unannounced on February 1 at Indianapolis and impressed by going more than 22 minutes and removing Jaida Parker before being eliminated by Giulia. It was her official entrance as she signed a multi-year contract in mid-January, just a few days before officially making it, lasting until at least 2029.
Sources in the company confirm that the deal is on the main-roster level compensation, though she is still developing her talent in NXT. Over the past few months, WWE has indicated its seriousness by means of big‑name matches.
Grace made her debut in April as the No. 1 challenger in a fatal four-way at Stand & Deliver where she lost to the NXT Women Women Championship. Such impetus was compounded only at Battleground at the end of May when she showed grit against the champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Main roster on the horizon
Ring rumors indicate that WWE is gearing up to call Grace up to Raw or SmackDown, presumably after retaining her in NXT until the summer. The trend was strengthened by the recent move by the company to promote three prominent female talents of NXT; Stephanie Vaquer, Jordynne Grace and Ricky Saints. Although she is not at her fully developed stage yet, her stint in NXT is more or less considered to be a proving ground before a big calling.
Although her in ring prowess has received global admiration, life has not been rosy for her all the time. Her new NXT entrance music was unpopular; fans vocally yelled “Fire Def Rebel!” at her June 17 debut, showing disappointment with the present musical choices of WWE. Irrespective of this boisterous criticism, Grace walks tall in all her engagements and the multi-year contract by WWE is an indication of their trust in her as a star.
