Roman Reigns has participated in numerous iconic feuds in recent years, having been the iconic face of WWE for several years before being dethroned by 'The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL.

The former world champion has shown total dedication to this business and has accepted any kind of challenge, breaking into the hearts of fans who initially did not accept his status and booed him on every single occasion.

Over time, WWE Universe realized that the 'Tribal Chief' had the right skills to represent the company and learned to support him by creating a mutual interaction. Over the past year and a half, Roman has learned to listen to his body more and take small breaks during the season to avoid injury.

The former member of 'The Shield' has not appeared on TV since the episode of Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania 41, in which he participated in the main event of 'Night 1' and he faced two other legends of the caliber of CM Punk and Seth Rollins.

On that occasion, Reigns was betrayed by Paul Heyman – who favored the victory of 'The Visionary' – and everyone is curious to know what will happen when the former world champion returns to action.

A potentially epic match

In the last few hours, top analyst Sean Ross Sapp has revealed a fairly shocking indiscretion. It seems that WWE was very interested in organizing a dream match between Roman Reigns and Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 39, but the plans changed at the last moment for an unknown reason and that plan did not materialize.

The 'Tribal Chief' faced Cody Rhodes in that edition of the 'Showcase of the Immortals', but it is clear that a match against Stone Cold would have had even more significant value. The 'Texas Rattlesnake' had returned to the ring the previous year to face Kevin Owens in a 'No Holds Barred Match' at WrestleMania 38.
